Brain Freeze-Interviewing Edition

I had an interview a couple of days ago. Just like any other interview I had, I prepared. I read about the company, I learned some of their products and services. I made sure I prepared my answers and recorded myself to practice.

However, the interview started and I froze. I was asked a question "what is your superpower?" and I couldn't find the words to describe my superpower in math, my superpower in customer service, my superpower in problem-solving or my superpower in connecting with people and being friendly. Instead, I said I'm empathetic which is true but that is not the kind of answer you'd give in an interview.

After the interview was over, all the words rushed into my brain. All of a sudden, I had the words that really described who I am. It is like after you're done a test and review your answers, you realize you could have answered some questions better or added some more information on others.

I don't know if I'll be getting a call back for a second interview (doesn't seem like it). I can't deny that I am still extremely unhappy with how that interview went. However, I have learned to be more prepared for next time. To be prepared to talk about ME. To be prepared for what I did not prepare.
