I've always heard/read/been told how staying motivated is important. Staying motivated is what gets things done. Staying motivated is what gets you where you want and need to be.

Staying motivated all the time is not easy. Staying motivated requires so much energy and it does not even last.

As human beings, we sometimes have lazy days. We get burnt out and on some days we just want to "sit back and pull up a chair" and that's okay. Having said that, we still need to work, study and do the things that have got to get done.

Building small habits over time will help you accomplish the things you need to even on lazy days. Focusing your energy on building habits and disciplining yourself is much better for your sanity than staying motivated.

At some point, your motivation will break you. At some point if you lacked motivation, you will fall behind.

Build the habit of taking breaks throughout your day. Set daily/weekly goals or a schedule that will help you stay on track even with lazy days. Ensure you include something you love like reading a book, writing, drawing, painting,...etc
