Trust is a two-way road.
Trust is not handed on a platter but rather must be worked hard for to be earned.
Trust is built over time between two people.
But why? Why would someone bother themselves to earn your trust?
Only a person who truly cares about you and your relationship with them would do what it takes to prove to you they're trust worthy. They love you, they care about you, they appreciate you, they want you to know that they will never stab you in the back.
So why would I bother myself to prove to someone I am trust worthy?
Because you are a person who cares about them and their relationship. You love them, you care about them, you appreciate them and you want them to know that you will never stab them in the back.
Personally, I believe I have developed major trust issues in the recent years. However, that doesn't prevent me from assuring others and proving them I am trust worthy. Imagine always being on your tiptoes around people all the time. It's the worst. This is why I bother myself to prove to my close ones I am trust worthy. I expect them to work in order for them to earn mine as well.
See how it's a two-way road?
